I'm so sorry to here about your dog. Saying Good-Bye is so hard. I had to put my goat that I got from Rachele a 1 1/2 yrs ago, down on Feb 12. He had to be helped getting up a few times. But was still eating/drinking. We figure he was about 10+ yrs old. But got worse within 2 days. He went tp sleep with his head in my lap, my vet gave him a sedative first. So he went very peacefully. I just got my bill and he only charged me a farm call. Thanks Doc Rooker. He knows I've been through a lot with my animals.
And now I was debating on putting my cat to sleep today, she was diagnosed about a month ago with a mass inside her abdomen area, vet was pretty certain it was cancer. She had been loosing more weight. I gave her extra lovins yesterday and gave her as much can cat food as she wanted. I had been supplementing her with can food twice a day. It was odd not to see her this morning waiting for her can food. I went looking for her and found she had died. She was the sweetest cat, a torti point siamese. I have had her since she was a kitten and she lived 8 short years. She came in as a rescue but never got adopted, so she lived a good life with me. I guess she new how hard it was going to be for me to say good bye. She stayed sweet till the end. Thinking of me first. RIP in peace Mee Mee. I'll never forget you.
