I liked the wood stuff but it can get dusty, it was pretty easy to clean. I made the switch to paper almost a year ago and I like that it doesn't get as dusty, pretty easy to clean, has a nice 'cush' to it so Monty LOVES to stretch out and sleep on it and it doesn't track like the wood. I also appreciate that the manure pile seems to break down faster with the paper shavings. The poops and pee sort of drop to the bottom of the bedding, so Monty isn't laying on top of it so fewer wet/poop spots on him....of coursehe does a things like a cat and tries to 'cover his poops' with bedding.
Have missed you, will you be going to the Stallion Expo at MSU next wk end?
