build a frame for around the water trough to limit their access, and move the bucket. Whenever one of ours starts pooping in buckets it gets moved as they dont stop. Guess he has just claimed that corner as his place to poop so you wont change him.
I totally agree about using a pipe for the electric wires. That is a major hazard especially with water right there too.
