That's a terrible way to lose an animal. I agree with checking online with the BC rescues... Also, a friend of mine got her's from a gal in the Lapeer area. I think the ad is on the Bulletin Board at the Lapeer TSC. (Near the bathrooms)
Any chance you would want an Aussie? Chris & Velvet have a friend that raises them. Check with Julie Field too. Although there are distinct differences in the 2 breeds.
