Subject: Icey baby update! No pics. :)

Miss Alison is my farrier and she came over last night to trim up my kids before the storms hit. She was warned that the icey babies had never had their feet done so she was REALLY looking forward to doing them. :P Well we did my little one first, Izzy was such a trooper. She was phenominal for her front feet and only struggled a bit on her backs until she figured out she could stand on 3 legs. Sunny was a bit more fiesty as she has had less handling. She was a lttle pully about her fronts but soon figured out Alison was not letting go and that she got praise when she just stood there. Then we went to the backs and again she was a little pully and jumped and wiggled around a bit but with a bit of a correction then praise she stood like a trooper.

I was so proud and Alsion was happy that they hadn't reared or struck out or yanked her hard. We thought for sure we were going to battle nad were pleasantly surprised that we didn't. Geez, I wish someone would buy miss Sunny so that they could find out how easy she is to work with!
