Is it aluminum on your house? When we replaced the aluminum siding on our house for vinyl, we got over 1000.00 for the aluminum, and that was about 8 years ago...it practically paid for the new siding, but Don did all the labor. So if there is damage to the siding and they can't repair it, they will have to re-side the house. It is worth it to check it out and don't let them take your aluminum, pay someone to haul it and keep the cash for yourself. It may be worth a shot to have the insurance company out to check it out. :-)
