It sounded really one sided to me unless I missed part of it. But anyway - I still agree with every one else. I can't see the government telling the ranchers they can't lease the land for their stock because of the horses (very sad but true). Some of them do make nice horses but some should not be adopted out. I have a trainer friend who got one and she was never able to get him broke to ride. It took months before she could touch him. And she is the one trainer I do trust and respect.
If someone really wants a family horse there are tons out there that are all ready to go for not much more than it costs to adopt an untouched mustang.
Don't make them suffer - do what is right in a bad situation.
