Subject: hmmmm more of a blurb than an article, not very in depth.

After reading that I want to read something with more substance and
get a clearer picture of how, who, when and why?

But...I am not a bit surprised at this seeing how the environment has
been shoved to the side lately and anyone who fusses or protests is
labled a green tree hugging nut. (remember the spotted owl?) Look at
the *scientists* who were pressured and paid to say that global
warming is so much b.s. as one example. Some have now come
forward to admit they did this. People who hint at me leaning that way
I usually ask if they are moving to another planet anytime soon once
this one is spent.

That is NOT a big herd and I don't see how they can truly threaten the
cattle or sheep ranchers. And as far as building where people want, I
see mother nature answering back to that in the form of wildfires,
floods and mudslides. You would think people would get a clue. You
can't have it all..after all.

I wish Teddy Roosevelt were here...he'd pitch a fit. Call me an idealist
but I think it is possible to have a good life and care for the earth and
it's creatures too. China and India are now some of the worst
offenders.
