Yes, I remember it like it was yesterday when they shot the Blitz. They had previously stoned ducks to death in our barn, and a hundred other things, but since they were juvenilles, even tho YOU had seen them do it, there had to be another adult witness that was not a family member. I never saw them shoot Blitz, but I know they did it because a week before they were shooting their own chickens and I had a bloodied up rooster of there's in my driveway. 6 months before that however, I do know that they hit Blitz in the jaw with a brick so hard it fractured it and I saw them try to do that again afterward. Not a damn thing I could do. After the shooting, Blitz was sick off and on for 2 years and we spent thousands on surgeries and meds. He contracted pigeon fever in the wound which was another year long project to cure. He will always be F'ed up, cannot eat green grass with his head down because his head will swell and he can't breathe. He finally had to have all the lymph veins stripped from his neck, head, and chest to save him, therefore his head won't drain properly if down eating. We have had to scrape the grass off his pasture every spring since. SO as you can imagine, I am very, very, happy that justice is finally coming. Someone posted below about the parents being mad at the G/F and the cops. True story! The boys are bad, but holy shit these parents are unbelievable! They still have the sherrif's there every week for something, beat the hell out of each other and gunfire IN the house. The sherrif's hate them and have told Lex and I when we hear shooting INSIDE the house - don't call them!! LOL! I said ya, when their in their driveway beating the hell out of each other, I always tell Lex, hurry, go get the 357 and throw it over the fence. Pretty sad when the cops are rolling over it, and I am sure one day I will post the story on here of how one of them finally took the other one out. I cannot say I have ever truly hated anyone, till I met the mother. Holy cow - you guys wouldn't even believe it. In fact back when Jesika was in elementary school, we had to get a protective order for her against the boys. The principal told me, whenever he had one of those boys in the office, which was weekly, and had to call the mom or dad to the school, he always had a sherrif present. This was 15 years ago, long before cops were standard equipment in elementary schools. I guess maybe the "psyche's" started the trend!!
