Barn has shingles in pasture, yard, etc., but structure is fine, fence from what I can see is ok, Monty was inside (Thank God)! BUT, the west/south side of my house took a good hit! Siding looks like The Hulk hurled rocks, trees and boulders at it, yikes, the windows look fine. Truck and trailer are ok.
I was in Charlotte having dinner when 'it struck' and when I got home at 8:30pm no power and still had piles of hail on the deck and around the barn. I had forgotten a plant and it doesn't look too good, but hope it survives. The plants/tree in the front, they are beaten down so time will tell if they are ok.
I just want to get the siding repaired/replaced before the next round of storms. Got power on this am.
Not even sure if it is worth reporting to insurance co., or if I should just go and get it done!!
Oh and the mosquitoes are in a real eating frenzy this am!!! :<(((
