Where are we located: Throughout Michigan
Who Can Join: Anyone between the ages of 9-19
What Events Are Offered: Bulls, Bareback Riding, Saddle
Bronc Riding, Pole Bending, Barrel Racing,
Goat tying, and Breakaway Roping.
How Much do the events cost: Cost is determined by the group sponsoring the rodeo, usually around $13.00.
Do I have to pay a fee join: Yes, your membership
includes insurance and mailings also.
Membership is renewed annually. There is a slight discount for additional family members.
Do you offer Awards: Awards include Buckles, Conchas, plaques etc. there are no cash awards.
Do You Have Finals: Yes, we do offer finals, requirements are determined yearly.
Will I have to purchase my own equipment: Some
roughstock equipment as well as safety
equipment may be available for use, check with the organization if you need help.
Is there any gender specific rules: No, both boys and girls can compete in any event.
Are there any limits to the number of events I can participate in: NO
How many Rodeos are there: Numbers vary from year to year, usually 6 or 7.
How many performances-are there at each Rodeo: Usually
2 per day, one early one late. Each Rodeo
is different; you will be notified prior to that Rodeo.
Are there any special requirements: Yes, each member is required to attend a safety clinic for the first 2 years of membership, if you do not attend you do not Rodeo. There are event specific rules that can be learned from the rule book.
